Thinking about what is relevant to myself in practice, I commonly find myself questioning the ethics of appropriating ideas and inspiration.

Where the lines drawn between plagirised/appropriated/inspired/original ideas.
How much does some thing have to change before it becomes your own or a new idea.
Is it possible to create 'out of the ether' or do we always refer to the past for ideas.
Is nothing new but forgotten?
Is appropriation inevitable (intentional or not)
